John
Founder, Reiki and Sound Bath Practitioner
Born in Alaska, John has always felt a deep calling to the realms of nature, energy, and healing.
In the early 1980s, he discovered a pathway to share joy and love with the world as a sound engineer for Christian rock music—an experience that awakened his understanding of vibration, spirit, and the power of sound.
Guided by the unfolding wisdom of the universe, John’s passion for computers and electronic sound led him toward the emerging world of High-Tech Meditation. This daily practice became a sanctuary for him, especially as he journeyed through Central and South America. In those sacred lands, John deepened his intuitive connection to Sound and Energy, learning directly from the rhythms of the earth and the people who honor it.
Through healing exchanges with intuitive Native elders, John was shown his spirit animal—the Bear (Mato). Today, he carries this medicine into his offerings, using a Shamanic Bear Drum to anchor and awaken energy during his Sound Bath Sessions.
Before he even knew its name, John was naturally channeling Reiki energy. Once he learned what this gift was called, he embraced it fully. Now, with renewed purpose, he blends Shamanic Reiki with the resonant frequencies of Crystal and Tibetan Bowls, the cleansing movement of Peruvian Rattles, and the grounding heartbeat of Shamanic Drums.
John shares his passion, presence, and healing energy through both group and private sessions across Southern New Mexico—holding space for transformation, harmony, and reconnection to spirit.
